  • i'm quite satisfied with my loot from the John Little Expo Sale. Bought Levi's shoes for $29.90 & some random big black bag for $13 & Animal bag for $29 (from $69!) :D

    but i still need some cool flipflops to replace my slippery fake Havianahs (there, my secret is out.)

    Thank God for the nice cool weather this morning! Botanic Gardens excursion with Bernice, Eveleen, Jasmine & Lydia! :D Did you know that it's Botanic Gardens and not BOTANICAL Gardens!??! I mean, I seriously thought it was Botanical Gardens since like eons ago and nobody corrected me. Anyway, it was really serene and it brought back many memories. I remembered the first time I last visited the Gardens was when I HAD TO do some science project for the Botanist Badge thing in primary school and my mother brought me to the Gardens. It was such a horrible trip because I had to constantly look out for different types of trees, their bark textures and the different leaves etc. But this morning's excursion was superb! :D We had fun taking pictures & getting lost & finding our way again. Thank God that we had free admission to the Orchid Garden ($5) because of some Holiday offer for students (:

    Long bus rides are great for long conversations. Actually, we meant for the bus journeys to be a time for us to sleep but we just couldn't resist talking. And talking really makes long bus rides seem so much shorter (: and more enjoyable.

    First time to Carls' Jr. Go ahead laugh. First time to Clarke Quay on Mon too. I'm such a country bumpkin.

    I chose not to join the girls when they went for their night activity- clubbin'. I am of age, but I haven't been to any clubs so I don't intend to break this record of mine. So I resisted. I know it's going to be fun, I heard about the art pieces at Butter Factory and how it's so cool but I know I needed the rest for tomorrow and I don't have to proof to myself that I have to go clubbin to be cool.

    Maybe one day I will eventually club, but not yet.
